Working Together for Advice is a partnership project that is funded by the Big Lottery Fund to provide a range of support services to advice centres in England.

This workstream aims to develop a coordinated approach to workforce development and training by addressing identified needs across the advisor sector. It is developing sustainable funding for workforce development and training in the advice sector and also aims to establish a national market place for workforce development and training resources.

A Consortium made up by AdviceUK, Advice Services Alliance, Age Concern and Help the Aged, Citizens Advice, Law Centres Federation and Youth Access has been awarded a total of £5.75 million by the Big Lottery Fund to fund an extensive 30 month project called Working Together for Advice (WTfA).
